Girlz With Skilz is creating opportunities for women of all ages to provide service and support to our senior citizen homeowners while gaining valuable knowledge and skills that will allow them to be more independent.    

Many senior citizens face challenges in maintaining their homes due to physical limitations, leading to unsafe living conditions. For some, the equity in their home is what they need to finance the next phase of their lives.  Simultaneously, women often lack opportunities to gain practical skills in home repair. Girlz With Skilz seeks to bridge this gap by creating a charitable organization that empowers women volunteers with hands-on experience, enabling them to assist seniors with essential home maintenance, fostering community support and safety.

Whether someone is aging in place or transitioning to senior living, GWS will connect these skilled volunteers with senior citizens in need, ensuring that vulnerable individuals receive essential home care while fostering community support and skill development among women.
